As a Dietary Cashier, you will determine charges and collect money for purchased food services.

Responsibilities:

• Receives payment by cash, check, credit card and debit card.
• Issues receipts, change, credits or refunds to customers.
• Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure correct balance.
• Maintains clean and Organizational checkout area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Certifications:

• None required.

Complexity of Work:

• Requires the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

• Previous cashier experience preferred but not necessary.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to push, pull, lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
• Must have manual dexterity to operate cash register.
• Requires frequent repetitive hand movements

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
