Responsibilities

Provide direct behavioral health patient care.

• Assist patient with performing activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
• Report any change in condition and suggest modification to the treatment plan.
• Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry preferred. CNA certification on the Illinois Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Standard shift:

• Night shift

Weekly schedule:

• 5x8

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hoffman Estates, IL 60169: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)
• CNA (Required)
• CPI Certification (Preferred)
